We Are Southern Africa’s Leading Dredging and Marine
Contractors and we specialize in private deepwater
dredging.
Our main business segment is Marine Civils, where we
specialize in dredging, harbour construction and
earthmoving, including the construction and maintenance
of ports and waterways, land reclamation, coastal
defense and river rehabilitation. As the leading
dredging contractor in Southern Africa, we also have a
marine Hydrographic Surveying division that works with
the dredging operation using bathymetric surveys to
ensure design levels are attained.
The Engineering division specializes in fabrication and
metal works, where in addition to miscellaneous work
undertaken we manufacture our own dredgers and floating
pontoons. This facility has recently undergone a floor
expansion and includes the only indoor dock of its kind,
to float and assist with commissioning of these dredgers
onsite.
Our Second business segment is in the Marine Service
field. We assist project managers working on large
projects with an invaluable service and are often called
upon on short notice.
• Here we “take on the projects” that are either too
specialized or too problematic for the primary
contractor to fulfill in
a marine or non-marine environment.
• Assist and provide RTK GPS base stations and moving
base application using our own hard earned experience.
• Fabricate technical designs at our metal works.
• Take on big and small Bathymetric Surveys and provide
the necessary processing for the client with our
Hydrographic Surveying team.
• We make ourselves available at short notice to assist
in emergency situations.
