T&T Marine - Koeberg nuclear power station

T&T Marine has been contracted to dredge the intake basin of the Koeberg nuclear power station in order to secure cooling water to the reactors. Sand is pumped from the basin and discharged to the beach south of the basin. Hydrographic surveys is also done on a monthly basis to confirm depths of dredged areas.

T&T Marine are specialists in creating custom barges for our clients specific needs. From Hydraulic cutter suction barges to an 11KVA electric barge with electric pump and Jet pump.

Sea sand, marine waste (shells and seaweed etc), small stones are all easily dredged clear. Harder material is blasted loose by the powerful jet pump.
